Top 8 Candies of Halloween

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Wyoming chapter.

The best thing about Halloween can be, arguably, the candy. Oh yes, all the chocolatey goodness that comes in giant bags waiting to be eaten…while watching spooky movies on the couch. Here are some of the best candies to eat this Halloween!

1. Snickers

There is so much going on with a snickers that makes you happy every time you eat one. There is chocolate, peanuts, and caramel. How does it get any better than that?

2. Reeses

Not only is there chocolate, but there is a delicious peanut butter filling. There is a wonderful ratio of chocolate to peanut butter every time you bite into it.

3. Candy Corn

Although not everyone loves candy corn, I absolutely do! I get it’s just sugar with some color, but there’s not much else that compares to this sweet treat that comes around once a year. Truly a Halloween treat.

4. Rolos

Every time you bite into a Rolo, all the caramel just melts in your mouth. And combined with the chocolate makes it definitely one of the top Halloween candies. Enough said.

5. Twix

It’s crunchy and delicious, again with the chocolate and caramel. I think I’m starting to see a pattern here?

6. Swedish Fish

The feeling of candy sticking to your teeth isn’t a great one, but with Swedish Fish I think we can all agree that it’s worth it. It’s like they are swimming on my tongue.

7. Skittles

Skittles are a great candy. They have a fruity flavor and are perfect for eating, one by one or with at least three to get a little skittle combo. And of course there are lots of flavors which make them even better!

8. Tootsie Rolls

Simple but always good. A good chocolate candy that you can always count on when you have a craving.

Honorable mentions to Twizzlers and Starbursts!

How could you ever forget about those when they are such a good candy to have on hand all times of the year, but especially during Halloween. Happy Halloween!
