I keep seeing posts about how Hot Girl Summer is finally over, and how it’s now Sad Girl Autumn. Hearing this, I knew it was finally my time to shine. I really tried to do the Hot Girl Summer, but it’s way too difficult and would mean actually working out and eating well. Sad Girl Autumn though? This season was made for me. Not only does the brisk weather of fall allow me to hide myself under layers upon layers of sweaters, but it also allows my time to do what I do best—be a sad girl.
I am perpetually sad, depressed some might say. I have a lot of emotions whether it’s love, appearance, or about my general existence as a human being. Personally, I think the best form of therapy (besides actual, professional therapy), is music. Nothing compares to putting in your air pods, or turning the car stereo up to max volume and listening to ballad queen, Adele, my favorite sad guy, Lewis Capaldi, and my personal goddess, Taylor Swift.
