Quarantine 2020 has been hard for me and I think the only thing getting me through it is music. Britney Spears very specifically. Britney is really good at filling the giant void in my life and I hope she can do the same for you. Here are some of my favorite, most relatable jams to help ease the pain of quarantine.

Okay, this is my all time favorite song. This is an anthem for young females struggling with leaving their childhood AKA me. This is also a great jam for girl trips. My little sisters and I recently jammed so hard to this on our way to the grocery store (because no girl trips until corona leaves us) and I seriously cried. SO GOOD.
Lucky
Okay, so this is another one of my all time favorites. I think it is a song that really approaches the topic of mental health and also that sometimes even though you look great, you don’t really feel great. This is a must have on your playlist.
Criminal
If you love bad boys, also me, this is your anthem. It’s saucy, it’s rebellious, it’s fun. You need this song in your life!
Oops… I Did It Again
Okay, this is a classic. I remember being five years old and playing this song on repeat in the car. That ended with my dad throwing my new CD out the window, but still a good memory, even better song.
Piece of Me
This is angsty Britney and I love her. I relate to her. This song flips the bird to the media and I am here for it. Are you feeling angry, angsty, restless — this one’s for you.
Toxic
Don’t you know that you’re toxic? If you don’t, you should. Also, I hope everyone is cutting out toxic people this quarantine season. But while this song is Toxic, it isn’t actually toxic so please consume this bop and put it on your playlist ASAP.
If You Seek Amy
If you weren’t aware this song is a total sexual innuendo. Love me, Hate me, Say what you want about me. But all of the girls and all of the boys are begging to ‘If you seek Amy’. I’ve also heard this song described as a bisexual anthem. Whatever it is, it’s sexy and I am here for it. Ten out of Ten, I recommend.

1, 2, 3, Peter, Paul, Mary. Okay. so this song is totally about threesomes and I love it. Maybe that’s your thing, maybe it’s not, but this song should be on your playlist regardless.
Circus
There are only two types of guys out there: the ones that hang with me and the ones that are scared. This is a total power move of a song. Again, this is the Britney that I love. Please enjoy to the fullest extent.
