Why did you join Her Campus Wyoming?

I joined first to fill up my free time and then I really enjoyed it. I loved writing topics that I was super interested in.

What does/did Her Campus mean to you?

It meant being free to express yourself, no matter your background. Everyone has something to add!

Has being involved in this club helped your career plans?

Not really, but I think it helped me enjoy writing more than I used to.

What is your favorite article/memory that you can recall?

My favorite articles are those I wrote about Kacey Musgraves and my favorite memory was roasting marshmallows at my house in Laramie.

What have you been up to post-college?

I got hired at my first teaching job before I graduated. I bought my first vehicle on my own. I got married on September 21st. I have also just been trying to manage adult life better.

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have my chihuahua mix, Molly, and we adopted a cat named Bill in March.

What is the best advice you could give your younger self?

College is seriously the best time you will ever have and you will miss it.

Favorite place in the world?

In the mountains.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

I would be a bright, blinding blue. First, because I love blue. Second, because my future is bright.

Any advice for current HC U Wyoming members?

Show up to meetings, participate in activities, and just have fun with your writing!

Anything else you’d like to add?

Breathe! You can make it through college!
