HOMETOWN: Pitt Meadows BC

ACTIVITIES: Tennis, study, hiking

HC: What made you choose UVic?

They have a very well known co-op program, and my older brother goes here. I love the location and how close it is to the beach, and it has such a nice community vibe.

It opens up a lot of opportunities.

HC: What’s your favourite flavour of ice cream?

Chocolate chip cookie dough is always good.

I love the Greek Islands, but for around here- Mayne Island is awesome.

HC: What is your idea of a perfect date?

Trying out a new restaurant and exploring the city!

HC: What’s your favorite spot on campus?

Mystic vale for relaxing and the downstairs of the library for working.

HC: What is one thing you can’t live without?

Cereal.

HC: Do you have an all-time favourite TV show?

Game of Thrones for sure.

HC: That’s a good one- who’s your favourite character?

Jon Show. He’s just a chill, rugged guy and I respect what he’s going through.

HC: If you could be any fictional character who would it be?

I’m going to leave Game of Thrones out of this one [laughs]. Probably Legos from the Lord of the Rings.

HC: Favourite celebrity?

Roger Federer!

HC: What advice would you give your twelve year old self?

Ego isn’t everything.

HC: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

I rode on the back of a taxi in Italy.

Sing by Ed Sheeran.

Femi Tunde-Oladepo is in her final year at the University of Victoria where she is studying at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business. After her undergrad, Femi hopes to read law and master French, Spanish and Italian. She is an active volunteer in her community and enjoys working with the Rotaract Club on campus. Having filled numerous notebooks as a child, Femi adores writing — especially short stories. She likes to dance (spontaneously), listen to all genres of music, laugh loudly and be the sassiest person in a room. In her spare time, Femi likes to window shop online, go for runs and reorganize spaces. One day, Femi hopes to perfect the art of soft pretzels.
