This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Vic chapter.

Are you stuck on what to do for the most romantic Hallmark holiday of the year? Here are some ideas for classic, creative, and cute Valentine’s Day date ideas that you can do in Victoria this  February 14th.

1. Pagliacci’s

This iconic feature to the downtown core is a quaint Italian restaurant that is perfect for a classic Valentine’s Day date. With live music, candles, and delicious food, it isn’t hard to see why this place is loved by so many Victorians.

2. Inner Harbour and Fisherman’s Wharf

Take a walk along the Inner Harbour to Fisherman’s Wharf on the Harbour Pathway. You’ll get to  walk along picturesque scenery and feed the seals at the wharf!

3. Hike the Goldstream Trestle

If you enjoy the outdoors and a good hike, this is a great way to spend the day with your S.O.

4. Go to the beach

Being on an island on the west coast means that we are surrounded by many beautiful beaches. Whether you want to take a short trip down to the Gyro Park or make the trek out to China Beach, there are many great spots to go to this Valentine’s Day!

5. Beacon Hill Park

Since Victoria is blessed with temperate weather all year round, you can take a romantic trip to Beacon Hill Park this February 14th! Walk through the gardens, visit the petting zoo, and go to the Beacon Hill Drive-In for a bite afterward to finish off the date.

So there you go! Good luck with whatever you and your S.O. end up doing this Valentine’s Day!
