How to Get Glowy Skin This Reading Week

Edited by Sophia Savva

It’s reading week and whether you’re going on a nice vacation on the beach or staying in town, you might want to enjoy some beautiful glowy skin. Here are my top products for glowy dewy skin!

L’oreal Lumi Glotion

This product will give your face the most amazing glow. It is a cream with a lovely glow that you can put all over your face under foundation or even on the high points of the cheeks on top of foundation.

Biossance Squalene Cream

In order to have glowy skin, hydration is key. I really like the Biossance squalene cream. It is expensive, but effective at moisturizing. It also has mostly natural ingredients and is certified green at Sephora.

Smashbox Primerizer

A hydrating primer is great for that dewy look too. I was introduced to the Smashbox Primerizer by Canadian YouTuber Allana Davison. When she said she uses it all the time, I went and bought it. It is so great to keep your makeup fresh and so moisturized.

Moisturizing Foundation

Moisturizing foundation will help keep your sking glowy and hydrated: I am really liking the sample I have of the Bobbi Brown serum foundation, however it is extremely expensive at a whopping $84.  It has light to medium coverage and has a very serum-like texture. It also has skincare ingredients in it to protect your skin and SPF. The Nars tinted moisturizer is also really great. It feels like a moisturizer and is great for dry brittle skin. The Maybelline BB cream is also a great option.

Cream Products!

Cream products are important for a dewy look, such as cream blush bronzer and highlighter. The cream products will give your face a more hydrated and natural finish.

Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadows

Sparkly eyeshadow will also add to the hydrated glowy look. I love Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadows. They give beautiful sparkly and iridescent glow to the eyes.

Lip Gloss

If you want to have a dewy look wear juicy lipgloss I have heard that Fenty Beauty’s gloss bomb is really great and extremely dewy.
