A collegiette is many things. She’s well mannered, gracious, smart, ambitious, athletic, a great friend and daughter/sister/girlfriend, but she is also well travelled. There’s a reason that half of us were gifted or read Dr. Seuss’ “Oh the Places You’ll Go” when we graduated. But let’s face it, travelling isn’t always in a student’s budget. I mean, really, there are only so many day trips you can take to Niagara Falls before it stops counting as a vacation spot. That’s why we’re proud to announce Her Campus’ brand new partnership with Contiki Vacations! Contiki was founded in 1962 and is now the leading guided travel company for 18-35 year olds, offering trips to 46 countries in eight regions (Asia, Australia, Egypt, Europe, North America, South America, New Zealand, and Mexico). Contiki’s trips are perfect for any collegiettes out there. With several trips being offered for under a thousand dollars, they’re a good value and because trips are taken in groups, you get to make new friends with a great group of people! Also, Contiki sets you up with planned transportation and accomadations throughout the trip, so it saves you the trouble of having to set up all this for yourself and makes it that much safer while you’re abroad. This means that you will have a detailed travel itinerary whenever you travel with Contiki, which you can then give to concerned parties in your life. Namely, your parents.

Perhaps the best part about our brand new partnership with Contiki is the fact that with it comes an amazing sweepstakes contest!  The “Have Contiki, Will Travel” sweepstakes runs until February 28th and offers the opportunity to send one lucky reader on the Contiki tour of her choice, for free! To enter, visit the sweepstakes page here! Good luck and safe travels U of T collegiettes!

Natalie has recently completed her second year at the University of Toronto with a double major in History and Ethics, Society, and Law. She is excited to bring Her Campus to U of T and seeing it expand its presence in Canada. She is also active in the school's Model United Nations circles and numerous organizations off campus and is best described as a political and pop culture junkie. Born and raised in Toronto, she is blindingly proud of everything the city has to offer including the best school in the country, no matter what Macleans says, and its sports teams, no matter how many times they may lose or miss the playoffs.
