The 2014 MTV VMAs took place Sunday night and it was a smashing hit. Music’s biggest stars surprised us with outstanding performances, hot fashions and wardrobe malfunctions, serious bootilicious dance numbers and much much more!
It is apparent that many fans were left wanting to re-live the night, flooding Tumblr and Twitter with VMAs gifs, picturess and reviews. So, if you haven’t had a chance to catch the VMAs this year we, here is a recap.
Fifth harmony started the night off with in their hot pre-show performance of Boss.
While the crowd was still rocking it out to Fifth harmony, Charlie XCX made them rock harder with a rendition to Boom Clap.
Ariana Grande opened up the show singing Break Free with her go-go girl persona and costume that many fans absolutely adored. Watch it HERE.
Nicki Minaj wowwed the crowd with her twerkalicious jungle themed Anaconda performance which many believe to have been one of her sexiest numbers HERE.
Jessie J, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande summoned some serious girl power with their collaborated single BANG BANG and even though the Harujuku Barbie’s wardrobe malfunction screamed a disaster in this episode, fans give Nicki kudos for keeping it together. See it HERE.

Sam Smith stole some hearts HERE with his Stay with me performance.
Fans were feeling Usher’s sexXxy vibes as he slayed the stage singing his She Came To Give It To You performance featuring Nicki Minaj right HERE.
5 Seconds of Summer performed a bittersweet single Amnesia that many fans dared not to forget HERE.
