What is it like being President of the Class of 2018?

Being President is an amazing honor and privilege. It is truly an exciting and unique experience to be able to represent the class of 2018.

What inspired you to run?

I was inspired by the opportunity and by the mission, so I decided to run.

You’ve also produced a movie! Tell us about your experience.

I produced a short film in Cuba about a kid who has a mission to make the world a better place and share his passion with others. This film was part of a social project I started and I worked with high school students who had never had any acting or film experience. It was very tough to actually make it happen as Cuba is a closed country and you are not allowed to film, especially if you are not Cuban, but we managed to do it. The film (in Spanish) is currently on YouTube.

What is your favorite movie of all time?

When I was much younger I used to practice magic and loved magic tricks. For that reason I think “The Prestige” is my probably my one of my favorite films.
