Thank you to everyone who came to last Tuesday’s People StyleWatch Celebrity Stylist on Campus Tour! We loved learning how to incorporate the hottest fall trends into our wardrobe. Thanks to the PSW stylists’ advice, our editor-in-chief is already on the prowl for the perfect pair of slouchy pants!
“I thought the event had a wonderful concept because it really allowed us girls to escape from thinking about classes and midterms,” said junior Sonali Mehta. “[We could] sort of submerge ourselves in the world of fashion, as well as get some wonderful tips out of it!”
Students came early for the giveaways and VIP gift from GUESS, but they stayed to hear the PSW style expert’s advice. “I was amazed by the turn out at the event,” said junior Diana Herrera. “There were girls lining up as early as noon to get free goodies. I barely got an appointment myself!”
Junior Ansha Islam agreed. “[The PSW style expert] was super nice and extremely knowledgeable about fit. It was probably more helpful than trying to go to an actual store and having an apathetic saleswoman guide you!
Ansha was also impressed by the variety of brands represented at the event, like a big selection of Vince Camuto shoes. “I was surprised and excited that there were high-end, good quality items (Josie) available, while the clothes were on-trend but affordable (H&M, Urban Outfitters, Zara).”
