Name: Mike DeSantis
Year: 2015
Hometown: Wilton, Connecticut
Birthday: June 19, 1993
Major: Finance and Accounting
Relationship status: Single

Favorite musician/band: Grape Blue (it’s actually my friend’s band)
Most time-consuming aspect of your life at Penn: Soccer. I’m a goalie on the Penn Soccer team.
What did you do this summer? I worked for TD Bank in New York, in credit analysis.
What’s the first thing you notice about a girl? Her smile.
What’s your ideal girl like? She’s attractive, has to smile more than I do, and goes out of her way to help others.
What do you find most appealing about girls at Penn? Their work ethic, their drive—they’re obviously here in Penn for a reason. No matter who you talk to, it’s always going to be an interesting conversation; you’re always going to learn something from them.
Ideal date: Doing something during the day, then dinner afterwards. Whatever it is, it should be something that takes all day: An all-day affair.
Do you believe in soul mates? I think there are multiple people out there for everyone.
Most awkward experience: Telling a rush (He’s a Beta Theta Pi brother) that you’re close to that he didn’t get a bid.
Most memorable experience at Penn: I walked on the Penn Soccer team. So it’d have to be when I got a call from the soccer coach, telling me that I got into the team.
Favorite pick-up line: Probably just a “What’s up?” Seems to work every time, haha.
Favorite words to live by: You can learn something from anyone. You just have to look for it.
Describe yourself in 3 words. Ambitious and hard-working
What do you wish you had more time to do? Explore the city a little bit more. More than just downtown Philly.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I have no idea where I’ll be in 5 years.
