Movember is finally coming to a close. Thousands of dollars have been raised at U Ottawa, and all around the world, to combat prostate cancer and raise awareness about men’s health. Most guys have either come to the conclusion that they can’t grow a moustache, or they are rocking a full-blown, Ron Swanson-esque upper lip accessory. In the spirit of Movember, and to the sexy stache, let’s take a look at the most legendary moustaches:

1.     Charlie Chaplin

I don’t think I need to explain who he is or why his moustache was absolutely adorable. But, if you have been living under a rock for the past 40 years, Charlie Chaplin was a British actor and filmmaker that found fame during the silent film era.

2.     Tom Selleck

Magnum P.I wouldn’t have been the same without Tom or his manly moustache. The TV show launched Selleck’s career, and he has since played in over 50 shows and movies.

3.     Freddie Mercury

“We are the champions my friend and we’ll keep on fightin’ till the end” are the famous words sang by Freddie Mercury with his rock band Queen.  I have to confess: his moustache still haunts me many years after his passing.

4.     Ned Flanders

Unlike Homer Simpson, I would have loved to have this man and his family as next-door neighbours.  Ned is friendly and compassionate, and his moustache is just wonderful.

5.     Johnny Depp

Johnny! Johnny! Johnny! I don’t remember what I was going to say – I got lost staring at your sexy and elegant moustache…

6.     Hulk Hogan

Two words are all that’s needed to describe this man: pro-wrestling and Hulkamania.

7.     Albert Einstein

He is the genius that gave us the famous physics formula: E = mc². If sometimes you struggle with the general theory of relativity, then blame it on Einstein! But don’t blame it on his stache.

8.     The Beatles

Before the British invasion of One Direction, the world had John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, who made the ladies go completely crazy.  They knew how to seduce the world with their super sweet love songs and their amazing moustaches.

9.     Zorro

Zorro was the secret identity of Don Diego de la Vega, a nobleman living in California during the Mexican Rule. Clad in a black cape, mask and, of course, moustache, this dashing outlaw was always ready to protect the people of his land from tyrannical officials.

10.  Salvador Dali

“The Persistence of Memory” is one the famous paintings by Salvador Dali. His work moved the surrealist art era. However, between you and me, I believe that it’s his gravity defying moustache that we remember the most.

11.  Yosemite Sam

Yosemite’s face has definitely been printed in my memory since I was a little girl. This character is quite violent and has a bad temper. Most importantly, he really had something against our beloved Bugs Bunny.

12.  Prince

Prince has been making music since he was seven years old. Fifty-five years later, Prince is still making music and impressing audiences all over the world.

13.  Ron Swanson

The moustache of the decade. His massive upper lip armour, his good hair and his impressive build makes him a pretty incredible character on Parks and Rec!

14.  Dr. Phil

No doubt about it – if I had an issue, I would confide in Dr. Phil and his moustache!

15.  Borat

Borat the movie may not be the perfect mother-daughter bonding choice for movie night, but Sacha Baron Cohen rocks a pretty awesome stache!

Some of these moustaches make me wish I was a boy, just so I could rock a stache! Which one is your favourite?
