The cornerstone of any spring makeup look is bronzed, dewy skin with a pink lip. Loose waves have always been the hair go-to as long as I can remember while a sun-kissed glow is always fashionable. However, some new trends have emerged from the runways this season. From New York to London, bold brows to neon eye shadows, these beauty looks are varied enough to fit any girls’ style. Keep reading for more of the most popular beauty trends for spring 2015.

1. Minimal “fresh face” makeup

The “no makeup” look has been around for many seasons and it’s still very much in style this spring. Many designers such as Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein walked models with as minimal makeup as possible. Others such as Marc Jacobs hostedcompletely barefaced models. Either way, skin care and a bright fresh face is a must for spring.

2. Black eyeliner

Black liquid liner was used liberally to create bold edgy looks in Saint Laurent or to compliment a clean and fresh face such as those on the Prada runway. Black liner is the perfect way to enhance any look and you literally can’t go wrong with this one.

3. Pop of Colour

From the runways of Peter Som to blue rimmed eyes taking center stage at Elie Saab, make your eyes pop with this trend. I love that bold colours can be used on a bare face or to create a smokey eye with black liner for a playful smoulder.

4. Smoky Eyes

The more charcoal the better. Smokey eyes were a big look on the runways this season from Tom Ford to Chanel, this look can clearly be dressed up or down. Done well, a good smokey eye gives the air of the careless and sultry Parisian fashionista.

5. Strong Brows

Dark and strong brows are 100% in, thanks in part to Cara Delevingne who works this look like no other. Check her out walking the Saint Laurent runway making a statement with those brows.
