We all want to be that group of friends that shows up to the party in the most iconic costume. We want our funny or sexy costumes to catch everyone’s attention. We want to be able to dress up with our friends and make some of the best memories. But how do we come up with the perfect group costume? There are so many ideas to choose from, but here are some of my personal favourites to help inspire you and your squad!

Beanie Babies

Sometimes we get a little busy in the fall trying to balance our social life and midterms, but there are some quick and easy costumes that you and your friends can put together last minute. All you need is an animal onesie and a printed tag. This costume will keep you warm all night, so when the sexy cops catch a cold on Halloweekend, you’ll know that your squad won this Halloween.

M&Ms

Very versatile group costume. Good for large groups or small. All you need is a colourful tee with a cut-out paper “m”. You can even spice the costume up a bit and pair your tee with a cute little skirt or tutu.

Pink Ladies

Grab your girlfriends and buy some matching pink jackets to recreate this iconic look! Who wouldn’t want to walk into a crowd channeling their inner Rizzo and Frenchy? You can even get your T-birds involved with some matching leather jackets.

Harry Potter

I know that we’re all still waiting for our Hogwarts letters, but while we continue waiting for those letters that got lost in the mail, we can grab our friends and dress up as our favourite golden trio. Your squad might even be big enough to add some of your favourite teachers or death eaters. This costume idea is a great way to have some fun with your friends and play out your Hogwarts dreams. This timeless costume will undoubtedly get appreciated by all of the other Potterheads at the party.

Incredibles

This look is absolutely timeless! It’s also the perfect way to show off how to have fun and not be so serious. Just pair a red outfit with the signature orange belt, mask and logo, and your group will surely be the talk of the party.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Grab two friends and you can go as this cute, singing trio! This costume is honestly one of the easiest ideas. All you will need is a coloured hoodie or T-shirt and then you can add your chipmunk’s initial on it.

The Joker and Harley Quinn

Who wouldn’t want to let their inner crazy out and hit up the party in this sexy couple’s costume?

Netflix and Chill

We all love a good costume pun! Why don’t you grab a friend and make a simple reference to our all-time favourite Netflix and Chill? You’ll surely catch the attention of others with this funny costume!

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

This is such a fun and quirky costume for you and your BFF to roll up in. Who doesn’t love these two ridiculous twins?

Party Animals

This is another great play on words that will have everyone laughing. Throw on some animal print or makeup, grab some party hats and accessories, and you’ll be set with this awesome costume!

Three Blind Mice

The best part about this costume is that you can modify it to your liking. You can definitely customize this costume to be either school appropriate or a little sexy. It’s totally up to you!

The Seven Dwarfs

This idea is great for those bigger friend groups. You can rock those classic characters, or you can spice it up a bit and create your own!

VSCO Girls

We all know that this is going to be 2019’s iconic costume, so it’s time to grab your hydroflasks and scrunchies and hop onto the trend!!! And I oop! Sksksksksks!

Frat Boys

Why not show up to the party this year making fun of those stereotypical guys? Everyone will surely love your costume and be complimenting you all night long!
