Fruit Couture is Online and Sweeter Than Ever

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Ottawa chapter.

One of the sweetest parts of having an online magazine in Ottawa is that our team gets to meet so many unique and talented individuals both at uOttawa and in the community. You may remember Jackie Bonilla of Fruit Couture as we featured her delicious creations last year. If you haven’t read that interview, you can check it out, here.

We caught up with Jackie for a second time to congratulate her on launching Fruit Couture’s website! Take a look at some of the things she had to say about her new site and upcoming specials she has:

1. Can you give more of an in depth description on the website?

I started working on my website in my last year at Ottawa U but because I was so busy with classes, I didn’t get a chance to complete it. Now that I am graduated I am finally happy to say that it is complete! The website is an online store where people will be able to order Fruit Bouquets and Chocolate Dipped Fruit and Oreos. To place an order they just have to use the checkout and I will contact them to complete checkout (payment). I also have a section with my fruit carvings that they can view and request by filling out a custom order form. To make it easier for customers looking for a special gift, I added an Occasions Page so they can see what Fruit Couture recommends for anniversaries, birthdays, Just Because, etc. The website also has a blog which I plan to be active on so that customers and readers can engage with me.

2. Do you have any promotions currently?

There is a 25% off discount that will be running all week long starting March 15, 2015 to March 20, 2015.

3. Are you using a special hashtag for the launch?

#FruitCouture will be the hashtag
