iPhone applications have been the rage since their first appearance. Convenient and entertaining, they cover every aspect of our lives, and more. With over hundreds of thousands of apps at our disposal, there is at least one for our every need.

This trend report will specifically cover the top apps to answer the needs of our inside fashionista. Sadly, us Canadians have the disadvantage of not having access to some amazing American apps like My Style Fashion Assistant and Ask a Stylist. However, I’ve thoroughly searched and tested many fashion applications that are available to us.

Putting Weheartit, Instagram and other overrated apps on the side, these our the three I found made the cut.

1.Go Try it On

This app was love at first try. You can take pictures and edit them right from the application to post your outfits on your profile. You have followers and people can ‘<3’ your pictures. Sounds familiar? It is pretty much a fusion of Instagram and Weheartit. However, other than tagging your posts, you can also add the links of the websites that sell the clothing you are promoting, which gives the opportunity to others to easily buy the items themselves. It is very easy to manage this new social network and the layout is very appealing. A must add to your app collection, especially if you want to be aware of the latest trends.

2.Chic Feed

If you love scrolling down fashion blogs all day long, Chic Feed is the app for you! It sorts through 6 major fashion blogs, like LookBook and Sartorialist, to give us a mix of the most popular pictures. Could this application be more convenient? Now that’s what I call killing 6 birds with one stone

3. Pose

This app is very similar to LookBook, but since the LookBook app is very difficult to work with, Pose is a great alternative. The bloggers can tag their outfits so we simply need to tap the apparel to know where it is from. Furthermore, the app offers the possibility to add the clothing’s’ link so we can directly shop for the item on the application. The users are all fashion forward, making it a great app to check out before going for a spring shopping spree.

Staying constantly aware of what is new in the fashion industry is definitely the way to stay on trend, so having these apps one tap away makes our busy lives that much easier. Hopefully the three applications described above will be to your liking and you will be able to find that perfect item to add to your fashionable wardrobe this spring. Happy Scrolling!
