Name: Ally Nohos
Hometown: Toronto, ON
Program & year: Political Science and History, Fourth Year
Favourite Movie: Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous will always be my favourite movie- he’s an amazing writer- or any Wes Anderson movie (The Royal Tenenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom top my list).
Celebrity Crush: I have a couple: Michael B. Jordan, Barry Johnson of Joyce Manor and Shia LaBeouf come out on top.

Her Campus: What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Ally Nohos: I watch a lot of 90s TV shows… still. I’m currently going through an X-Files obsession.

HC: What are the top three items on your bucket list (not in any particular order)?
AN: To move to Seattle, to become a published author, and to travel all of Ireland.

HC: If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
AN: I think I would want to be JJ from Criminal Minds because she’s intelligent, strong, has a great job and friends. She is just wonderful.

HC: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
AN: Breakfast! Breakfast in general is my favourite; every single kind of option. My best friend Cameron and I go for breakfast once a week together and it’s just the best.

HC: How would you describe your fashion style?
AN: It all depends on the weather, but anything that involves a black leather jacket. As the weather gets worse in Ottawa, chunky-heeled boots and thick wool scarves are a must. I wear a lot of black, so adding a little bit of colour to soften an outfit is needed, and a scarf is the perfect way to do that.

HC: What is on your Holiday wish list?
AN:  A trip to Seattle and Oregon with a few of my friends is on my wish list, most definitely.

HC: Why do you love Seattle so much?
AN: There is a vibe there that is completely different from Toronto or Ottawa. It’s close to nature while also being an urban place with a great art scene.

HC: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
AN: “The good people always come out on top, even when we have rough days” from my friend Jules, is one of the best things I’ve been told. It’s very comforting when things don’t seem to be going according to plan.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
AN: I don’t even know what I’m going to be up to in a few months so I can’t think that far ahead. However, hopefully, I am breaking into curating an art gallery/ museum in the U.S., happily married, and just happy in general.
