Full name: Alex Massi

Age: 22

Program: Honors in Finance

Hometown: Brossard, Quebec

Relationship status: Recently Single

Hollywood crush: Miranda Kerr or Mila Kunis. All day, everyday!

What do you look for in your significant other?

Wow, that’s a big question for someone who is recently single. Someone that is fun enough to make an extremely boring situation bearable and somebody smart enough to carry a conversation and be somewhat stimulated by it. So basically a fun and smart person.

What is your biggest turn off?

Unfaithfulness directed towards me. It is always circumstantial, so someone who has done it in the past wouldn’t necessarily be a deal breaker because you have to consider their perspective and I wasn’t there, so I can’t judge. However, I don’t have any tolerance if it’s done to me.

What would be your ideal date?

My ideal date would be one of these two activities: Skiing/snowboarding during the winter or mountain biking during the summer.

Is there an embarrassing moment you would like to share?

No… but here’s an advice: Never get sh-tfaced at a kegger the night before you have to leave for a competition at 4 am in another province!

What is the thing you cannot live without?

Music. Any type. I can’t live without music.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

I am outgoing, positive and the life of the party.

Why did you choose to attend the Telfer School of Management?

I wanted to live away from home, in another province. The program was appealing and uOttawa was close enough to Montreal so that I could go back and forth to visit friends and family.

How are you involved on campus?

I’ve been involved by being part of the Telfer Student Council, Jeux Du Commerce (JDC) and The Finance Society.

Who is your role model?

My dad. He’s always supported me through by entire life, whether it was for athletics (elite soccer in Quebec) or academics.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I don’t know where I’ll be in 10 years, but I do know who I want to be.

I want to be someone who is successful in what he takes part in, yet healthy and outgoing. The same person I am today, with the appropriate progress that I should have after 10 years.

What is one of your favorite quotes?

My friend’s father once told me, ā€˜I work to live; I don’t live to work’.

If you could be in a woman’s head, what would you like to know?

Why do you make us guess all the time when it’s so much simpler to just say it?!

Any relationship advice for our readers?

Never force things!
