Body Positive Podcasts to Help You Fall in Love With Yourself Again

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Ottawa chapter.

When you look up the term ‘body positive’ in your internet browser, you’re immediately flooded with over 200,000 different search results. However, we can’t help but ask ourselves: what is the true meaning behind body positivity?

Is it only a popular internet trend? Do others really care, or is this just a content creator’s dream, and an easy way for them to gain followers? Body positivity, in fact, is so much more than just a popular internet trend on social media. It is a way for individuals—regardless of their gender, size, shape, skin tone, and physical abilities—to love, be kind, and support their bodies while being advocates and challenging toxic societal norms.

Being positive about one’s body is something that should be celebrated regardless of the long, short, difficult, or easy journey endured to finally be proud of oneself. While there will always be a few things we can do to improve our health, it’s important to remind ourselves to be proud. Here are a few podcasts that strive to validate and remind you of just that.
