You don’t need to spend $3000 on an outfit to follow this season’s trends. This week, I’ll take you through the BEST fashion of the 2019 Spring Runway.
1. Neutrals
This is probably my favourite trend this season. Stock up on your head-to-toe whites, blacks, beige, and grey because neutral is IN! What does this mean? Yes, you can wear a sweat suit to class and still look put together because honey, it’s this year’s trend. Although neutrals aren’t new to runway, the monochrome look is definitely in. Burberry and Tom Ford are just a few designers that showcased neutrals this season.
2. Polka dots
We don’t mind rocking a good 70s vibe do we? H&M has some super cute wrap dresses right now with black fabric and bold white polka dots. Grab a cute pair of high heeled boots and you’ll be the centre of any show. This trend was a highlight in the Celine show this year.
3. Pale Blue
One of the most flattering colours, it truly goes with everyone’s skin tone and hair colour. Whether you wear a cute blue scrunchie, high heels, or bodycon dress, this trend is very versatile. Showcased at Marc Jacobs, this trend will have you in the mood for spring.
Watch out Kim Kardashian, we’re coming for you. Featured in numerous runway shows this year, this trend is a simple and not to mention COMFY trend.
PRO TIP: Aerie has 40% off of bike shorts right now and let me tell you, the colours are super cute and I need them all.
Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Ulla Johnson to name a few. Crochet isn’t just for vacay, okay? It is one of this spring’s hottest trends. Pair it with a cute maxi skirt or find a cute crochet dress. Zara is probably the place for this trend.
Who hasn’t seen all the highlighter shades in Sirens yet?! Another good 70s/80s vibe coming back into style. Jeremy Scott came out with some ICONIC pieces this year. Even if you’re more of a neutral gal/boy I definitely suggest grabbing a few fun pieces for a night out. Who doesn’t want to channel their inner Cindy Lauper????
