Unless you’ve been hibernating from the world for the past week, I’m sure you’ve heard non-stop chatter about the 2014 World Cup being held in Brazil. Football (not the Friday Night Lights American version of football) is the most popular sport worldwide, and every four years the World Cup tournament determines who the reigning team will be.
I’m completely unathletic and am embarrassed by how little I know about sports in general so I didn’t have much interest in the World Cup at first. Why would I watch something that I didn’t understand and didn’t really care that much about? Somehow my dad convinced me to make a bracket and soon enough I was just as wrapped up into team standings, matches and the whole football fever that he was. Soccer’s a fast-paced game, so it’s pretty interesting to watch…and some of the players are seriously good looking.
Even if you don’t like sports, try giving the World Cup a chance; if not for the athleticism, than at least for the eye candy.
I’ve compiled a list of some of the best looking 2014 FIFA World Cup players. If this doesn’t get you to want to watch then I don’t know what will!
