Season three of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was released on November 13th and to say I have been obsessed is an understatement. The new season has brought back all of my favorites (and non favorites…) for the perfect drama-filled show to get me through the final stretch of the semester. In preparation for winter break, I matched up each of the Mormon wives with what Starbucks Holiday drink they would be.

Taylor Frankie Paul: Hot Peppermint Mocha

For Taylor, a classic hot peppermint mocha fits perfectly. There’s no better way to start this list other than with the leader and main founder of ‘Momtok.’ Taylor is a little bit messy, but she always takes accountability for her actions. She is constantly being overloaded with drama in her personal life but manages to work through it. She is a busy mom of three and managing a flourishing career. Similar to the peppermint mocha, as the season’s go on and Taylor matures and grows, she remains one of the audience’s favorites. She doesn’t have time to try something new off the holiday menu. Her Starbucks drink matches her classic, on the go, comfortable style.

Jessi Ngatikaura: Hot Chestnut Praline Latte

Like Jessi, a hot chestnut praline latte has a mature caramelized nutty flavor. Jessi is a business woman who owns her salon that gives her valuable skills in dealing with conflict. Although this does not excuse her from being confronted with her own messy drama (especially in season three) she tends to handle things in an open, vulnerable way, not backing down from accountability. She is a loyal friend that you can always count on. The praline latte is always a good option on the holiday menu and while for most it’s not their go to, it’s still always there when you need it.

Jennifer Affleck: Cran-merry Orange Refresher

Although the cran-merry refresher was not brought back to the 2025 Starbucks Holiday Menu (I’m still in denial) it screams Jen. Jen, due to her personality and strong commitment to her faith would definitely choose a refresher over coffee. Her content shows she is a sweet and loving wife and mother while still showcasing her unfiltered humor. She is open with her fans about her prenatal and postpartum struggles and works to find her inner self again. The cran-merry refresher allows Jen to join in on the holiday fun while still staying true to her authentic self.

Mayci Neely: Iced Gingerbread Chai Tea Latte

The iced gingerbread chai tea latte is initially a sweet drink but is paired with chai and gingerbread spices adding a depth of flavor. Mayci is a strong, honest woman who isn’t afraid of saying what she really thinks. She is open about her traumatic past and the resilience she has used to face her trauma. She also serves as a neutral, voice of reason many times between the women on the show. Similar to the gingerbread chai tea latte, she is a friend that everyone can get along with and even in the most complicated friend groups she is rarely under controversy.

Mikayla Matthews: Hot Caramel Brulee Latte

Similar to Mayci, Mikayla is open about her traumatic past and her therapy process in working through her pain. From her dislike of Whitney to chronic health issues, she is very candid and blunt about her life. She is a great best friend to Mayci as they go through their pregnancies together. The hot caramel brulee latte is a warm drink with a sweet caramel/toffee flavor. It’s the perfect comforting drink for Mikayla as she works through her struggles and follows her with her investigations of ‘Momtok’s’ recent scandals with Mayci.

Whitney Leavitt: Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino

The peppermint mocha frappuccino is a jampacked drink with many different flavors. Similarly, Whitney has many layers. She is constantly teetering on the edge of being in ‘Momtok’ or not. She is bold like the peppermint and mocha flavors but also sweet like the overall drink. When Jen first begins struggling with prenatal depression Whitney is the first one there to defend and help her. She is definitely not everyone’s first choice and is passed around in terms of who likes her at the moment. Although, at the end of the day she is a staple on the menu.

Demi Engemann: Cold Brew with Peppermint Mocha Cold foam

Demi is a controversial character among watchers. She was a large focus of the drama of season three. For some she is a misunderstood individual. For others, she is the bitter villain of ‘Momtok.’ She is quick to fight back with a strong opinion and always has an explanation. Like a cold brew with peppermint mocha cold foam she has layers beginning with a sweet, classic foam and then punched with the taste of a strong, bold cold brew.

Layla Taylor: Iced Sugar Cookie Latte

The sugar cookie latte is a fan favorite for the girls that love their coffee to be a sweet treat. Layla is a nice, bubbly individual who is the youngest on the cast. She is navigating life as a young single mom while staying true to herself. She isn’t the best at standing up for herself or facing conflict but over the past three seasons she has learned to tap into the strong espresso side of the sugar cookie latte more.

Miranda Hope: Iced Latte with Sugar Cookie Protein Cold Foam

Miranda is a newer edition to the cast but she has still made an impact. She is calm, collected and mature when handling conflict. She has learned to become more open about her scandals as she has gotten closer with ‘Momtok’ on the show. She is very into her fitness journey posting some content about it on her social media. She matches the simple iced latte with sugar cookie protein cold foam to align with her fitness goals and match her new best friend Layla’s drink.
