Stuck in a fashion rut this fall? Whether you’re a freshman
finishing up sorority rush or a senior scoping out a cute new party
look, have no fear. Here’s Her Campus UMich’s guide to help
you find the perfect outfit for any upcoming event on campus this
autumn.

What Do I Wear To…Preference Parties?
Congratulations, you’re almost there! There’s no need to stress
about finding the perfect cocktail dress for this last round of rush.
Wearing a dress with color blocking is a great choice to look
stylish while incorporating all of your favorite colors. Be sure to
avoid clingy or low-cut styles – opt for higher necklines and cool
cuts. Bold bracelets and cocktail rings make a great pair with this
graphic trend – not to mention they’re cute conversation pieces
when you’re shaking hands!

What Do I Wear To…Girls Night Out?
Ringing in the weekend with your friends never looked so stylish.
Stroll down State Street in brightly colored mini-dresses in fuchsia
and tangerine, both of which are two big colors this year. Styles
with cutouts are also trendy and daring. Opt for a fun pendant,
nude heels and a sparkly clutch to really sizzle.

What Do I Wear To…Date Night?
Grabbing hot chocolate with your campus cutie? Wow him with a
sleeveless ruffled mini-dress in a cool pattern. Pair your flirty frock
with a cute cardigan and a simple scarf to stay warm and avoid
looking like you tried too hard. Bright earrings provide a fun pop
of color and draw attention up to your face.

What Do I Wear To…Dinner with Parents?
What’s the best part about parents weekend? Going to restaurants
on Main Street of course! A dress with a mullet skirt is a
fashionable fall must and shows some leg without being too
showy. A belt and an elegant necklace makes the look super
polished, and flats make it family appropriate.

All of these stylish pieces are available at renttherunway.com/umich for cheaper prices than a Main Street dinner!
