Saturday night was a night full of fashion, music and glam. SHEI Magazine, a fashion magazine on campus, put on their annual Launch Party releasing their Fall 2012 issue. The event took place at The Work Gallery on State Street, which couldn’t have been a better place to showcase this radiant group’s hard work.
The event hosted a talented student DJ by the name of Alexandre Teo. His incredible musical skills attracted many guests strolling through State Street on Saturday night. His passion for music shined through the work he showcased. The Launch Party also hosted some of the Universities top student representatives. Ann Taylor, Rent the Runway, Madewell and Pink all made a guest appearance at the event with tons of free goodies, raffles and promotional cards. The event attracted so many people that the infamous small gallery was packed to the limit with excited students and proud parents.
The Fall 2012 issue of SHEI Magazine, is the best to ever hit stands! This semester’s theme, “The Expedition Issue” allowed for the incorporation of the most incredible ideas and concepts. This issue’s shoots took flight, literally. Everything from a private plane to an old vintage car was shot. This issue couldn’t have come together so well without all the hard work of the SHEI team as well as everyone else in the greater area of Ann Arbor that stepped up to help this student group shine.
