Although we’re busy collegiettes, there has been room in the back of our brains reserved for spring break planning ever since winter break ended (squished right beside organic chem and what we’re going to wear tomorrow). If you are counting down the days till spring break, and tired of drudging across the Diag in the snowy climate every day, then let your daydreaming begin!

Wild West
One of this year’s hottest spring break destinations isn’t all that hot—temperature wise. Aspen, Colorado would be a desirable change from the wicked winters in AA. With the sun shining on your face, you can get a nice tan comparable to being beachside, all while you hit the slopes! What better way to warm up afterwards than with a hot tub overlooking the mountain? Or perhaps cuddling up by the fire with hot cocoa? Mmm, cozy…

Welcome to Miami
If you don’t want to spend money on airfare and don’t possess a passport, then “party in the city where the heat is on.” Miami, Florida is the spot for you. Things will heat up quickly once you move south of the Florida border. The club scene here will leave your feet exhausted from dancing the night away, but nothing a day at the beach can’t cure.

What happens in Mexico…
If Florida isn’t close enough to the equator for you, spring break doesn’t get much hotter than Cancun, Mexico. Join thousands of other spring breakers from campuses across the U.S. and meet some new friends! I recommend an all-inclusive resort so you don’t stray too far off. The nearby island of Cozumel, Mexico offers some of the best scuba diving in the world if you are the more adventurous type. If you’re more laidback, relax by the beach with a cold drink and soak up all that Mexico has to offer.

Wherever you choose to venture to for SB ’11, whether it is in Ann Arbor or miles away, remember to stay safe and stay classy. One bad decision can lead to many Facebook comments!
