As we, unfortunately, see a consistent rise in coronavirus cases, I am sure that many people are anticipating many more pandemic walks in the near future. I have compiled a list of podcasts to listen to while you walk, no matter what mood you are in!

For Those Looking to Stay Up to Date: Pod Save America

Pod Save America gives the listener a no-bullshit conversation about politics. It is hosted by four former Obama aides: Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer, and Tommy Vietor. The podcast breaks down the week’s news and helps people figure out what matters and how they can help. Before the election, they brought on Barack Obama himself!

Listening to this podcast has been crucial before the election, it is informative as well as providing resources to take action. They organized a website where people can “adopt” a swing state and call or text unregistered voters.

For Suspense Seekers: Crime Junkie

Crime junkie is a true-crime podcast dedicated to giving you that mysterious, mind-boggling, Criminal Minds fix. Hosted by Ashley Flowers, it delivers different stories each week. Serial killers, mysterious disappearances, and conspiracies are all consistently featured. The storytelling is straightforward and free of rabbit holes so the cases stay suspenseful and are easy to follow. Make sure to listen to this podcast in daylight.

For Those Needing Comedic Relief: VIEWS with David Dobrik and Jason Nash

VIEWS is a podcast hosted by famous YouTubers David Dobrik and Jason Nash. They share every thought that pops into their head as to where they tell crazy stories of their behind-the-scenes Youtube lives. They are constantly joined by members of the “vlog squad” to add more comedians to the mix.

For Those Who Look to the Stars: Scorpio Today

I used Scorpio Today as an example, but this Parcast Network has every sign represented. A short, under three-minute podcast, where a new episode is released every day, gives listeners an educated way to start the day. I often listen as I make my bed and get ready in the morning.

For Those Who Cannot Decide: TED Talks Daily

This podcast releases TED talks every day, hence the name. Each TED talk is thought-provoking and provides its listeners with ideas on every subject imaginable, from Artificial Intelligence to Zoology. Given by the world’s leading thinkers, creators, poets, musicians, and many more intelligent people. With TED Talks Daily, find some space in your day to change your perspectives, ignite your curiosity, and learn something in a new topic of a field you have yet to explore.

For Those Who Like Advice EXPLICITLY: Call Her Daddy

At the beginning of the initial U.S. quarantine, there was huge drama involving this podcast. Friendships were ruined, contracts were terminated, but the Daddy gang stayed strong. Alex Cooper is a single mother providing dating and sex advice to her listeners. She breaks down the very real dating world as she is exploring it herself. Fun and lighthearted podcast that is released every Wednesday.
