Did someone say the day after Thanksgiving? It seems that every year the holiday season starts earlier, and this year shop windows are already lined with holiday decor and Starbucks has rolled out their line of signature beverages that are way too sugary and have way too many calories (But calories don’t count when it’s a peppermint mocha right?). The holiday season can be stressful, between finals, family gatherings, and that “what the heck do I get my 17 year old brother” thing on your mind. Luckily, Her Campus tried this season’s hottest products in preparation for the holidays, a chilly winter and of course New Years Eve.

  • Alba Botanica just released a Fast Fix for Puffy Eyes Cooling Eye-Revive Gel, or what we like to call, the number one way to rally for that family brunch after a night out. This cooling gel immediately revives tired eyes and leaves you looking and feeling oh-so refreshed. Check it out here

We we’re lucky enough to try more than one product from Tarte Cosmetics this holiday season. First on the list is the Taretist PRO Palette™, this eyeshadow palette, which has 20 different shades of eyeshadow (something for everyone, for real) is absolutely perfect for everything from Christmas dinner to mistletoe moments this December. This palette can handle the quick natural look, the sparkly NYE look and everything in between. Next up is the Lights, Camera, Lashes™ or Tarte’s best selling vegan mascara. This mascara does it all. It curls, volumizes, lengthens, AND conditions. AKA this mascara is a Godsend.

Lucky us, we were able to test out Being’s holiday hand creams, which are perfect for smelling great AND having the softest skin around. We tried both the Salted Caramel & Macadamia and Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom hand creams. Both were perfect for a nice winter daily cream and we would recommend them for sure

In a major decorating or wrapping crisis? Lucky for you we got to try Krazy Glue’s all purpose singles. If you’re experiencing a tear in a wreath, or even a broken mug or chair– Krazy Glue is for you. Finally, we got some of the limited edition #ActuallySheCan tank tops, which were created in partnership with retailer “Le Motto”. Made in a soft, breathable cotton blend, the tanks are a perfect choice for activewear. The tanks each featured a different empowering slogan and came in three different colors!
