Thanksgiving— a time where we can all reflect on how unbelievably awesome it is to be a Michigan Wolverine. Although there are unlimited reasons why us Wolverines are thankful to call Ann Arbor hoMe, here are 10 to always keep in mind.

1. We wouldn’t be the leaders and the best with out our incredible faculty. They push us to be the best people we can be.

2.  The Big House is home to an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Being in the Big House is always an unforgettable experience.

3. Ricks. Enough said.

4. The University of Michigan truly has the most incredible student body. We create amazing friendships that will last forever.

5. It’s a scientific fact that Wolverines bleed maize and blue (okay, not really). Our school spirit and athletics are the best in the country.

6. The food in Ann Arbor is crazy good— whatever you’re feeling, Ann Arbor has it.

7. The University of Michigan is truly a place where we can create, explore, learn, and grow. It’s a place where we can stand up for what we believe in and be proud of who we are and where we come from.

8. The University of Michigan celebrates cultures from every corner of the globe. The diversity in Ann Arbor can take us all around the world, and then still make it back to class on time.

9. Speaking of getting to class on time, it’s safe to say that we are all thankful for Michigan Time. Those 8 a.m. classes are not easy to wake up and get ready for.

10. Last but not least, Wolverines are a family. Wolverines have each other’s back no matter what, and for that we are forever thankful.

I'm a Sophomore at UMICH studying International Studies and American culture! I bleed maize and blue all day everyday, because duh. Family, friends, food (aka bae), and traveling are my passions :)
