Ann Michael Maye has been on the rise to fame this past Patriots’ season. Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2025, she and her husband, Drake Maye, have recently settled down in Massachusetts. While her husband has had a record-breaking season, she has been stealing the spotlight. Ann Michael has built a substantial reputation on social media, and I want to share both her new career highlights and her amazing WAG style.
Under new head coach Mike Vrabel, the New England Patriots had a powerful comeback season. This season was marked by numerous breakthrough moments and memorable plays. Unfortunately, their season ended with a devastating Super Bowl loss to the Seattle Seahawks. I’m sure nearly everyone who follows the NFL has heard of Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.
Maye has been a part of the Patriots now for two seasons; his personable character on and off the field has captured the attention of millions. In stores, “I heart Drake Maye” merch has been selling out, and the famous @drakemayelover on Instagram has nearly 400k followers. But throughout their season, attention has slowly turned to Ann Michael Maye, who has been by his side since middle school, which makes their relationship that much more heartwarming and enduring.
Ann Michael Maye has been on her climb to fame since the beginning of football season. Throughout December, Ann Michael began a TikTok series, “Bakemas.” This quickly blew up, generating nearly or over a million views on each video. Now, she has her own segment on NBC Sports Boston, called “Beyond Bakemas.” On this show, she shares other recipes and also collaborates with special guests, including Celtics’ Peyton Pritchard’s wife, Emma Pritchard. On the topic of baking, Ann Michael also partnered with JetBlue Airlines before the AFC Championship in Colorado. On certain flights from Boston to Denver, passengers received Ann Michael’s Patriots-themed M&M cookies. What started as simple kitchen videos has turned into branded campaigns, appearances with Dave Portnoy, and television partnerships.
Besides her rise in fame with baking and food, I also want to take a moment to appreciate and showcase Ann Michaels’ style. Posting a fitcheck before nearly every game on her Instagram story, she shows outfits with knee-high boots to sequined pants. Most importantly, I want to highlight her custom patchwork cropped Patriots-themed puffer jacket, designed by Kristin Juszynck, who designs many custom jackets for NFL WAGs. Beyond the sidelines, she sports many of ALO Yoga and Parke sets for her pilates classes, most of which are red and navy blue, following the traditional Patriot colors. This Patriots’ season, the WAGs have been showing off their style in diverse ways. From bomber jackets to glittery accessories, they have grabbed the attention of millions.
Ann Michael has been supporting Drake from the sidelines for nearly a decade, and it shows on her social media. Many compare her to Gisele Bündchen, the Patriots’ previous quarterback, Tom Brady’s ex-wife. Gisele brought Hollywood-level energy, as she was an iconic Victoria’s Secret Angel. On the other hand, Ann Michael brings authentic and relatable vibes from her kitchen and on the sidelines.
