Like all Collegiettes, we were so excited when it was announced that there was going to be a four episode reboot of one of our all-time favorites, Gilmore Girls. However, we were left disappointed after hearing that beloved Sookie St. James would not be a part of the return. Well, Collegiettes, on today’s episode of Ellen, Melissa McCarthy announces that she will in fact be returning for the show, and we couldn’t be happier!
Gilmore Girls just wouldn’t be the same without Sookie, one of the best sidekicks to date. Lauren Graham took to Twitter to celebrate the great news.
All in all, we can’t wait to see what the revival has in store!
