It took me awhile to get on board with podcasts, but now I love having them on; whether I’m going on a long drive, taking a socially distanced walk, cooking, or just for some background noise. It is a good way to set your phone down and take a break from looking at a screen. I love listening to podcasts from women my age, and being able to get good advice and relating to their stories. If you’ve been wanting to get into podcasts or are looking for new recs, here are some of my favorites right now that you should check out!

Working Title

One of my favorite youtubers, Margot Lee, just started her new podcast. Right now there’s only a few episodes, but I’ve listened to them all! She discusses navigating life after college and discovering who you are in your twenties. The episodes are on the shorter side, making them perfect for walking between classes. I’m excited to see what she will discuss in future episodes.

Ageless

Ageless is a podcast by fashion designer Cynthia Rowley and her daughter Kit Keenan. If you’re a fan of fashion, this is a perfect podcast for you. The mother daughter dynamic is comforting, and it’s great to hear about each of their takes on different topics such as wellness, beauty, fashion, and business. They often have special guests on the show as well!

Girls Gotta Eat

Rayna Greenberg and Ashley Hesseltine are the hosts of Girls Gotta Eat. They discuss relationships, sex, and dating. The show reminds me of Sex and The City as I listen to their hilarious stories of living in New York City. Their no-filter advice is refreshing and they bring great guests on the show.

Gals On The Go

Gals on the Go is a podcast by youtubers Brooke Miccio and Danielle Carolan. They both attended the University of Georgia, and started the podcast in college. They talk about all different topics centered around lifestyle. Listening to the duo feels like chatting with your best friends. A new episode is uploaded every week and I always look forward to it.

Call Your Girlfriend

Call Your Girlfriend is a podcast hosted by two long-distance best friends. Ann Friedman and Aminatou Sow chat with eachother each week from their homes in Los Angeles and New York City. The pair talk about current events, lifestyle, politics and more. The show is a great combination of heart-to-heart, informative interviews, and hilarious conversations.

I hope you’ll give one, or all, of these podcasts a try!
