I have a bad habit of becoming obsessed with certain Netflix shows that I have already seen and refusing to watch anything else because of how comforted I feel when watching the same episodes of the same seasons of the same shows. I am also the kind of person who needs to have something playing in the background while I do basically everything—which is where rewatching all these shows I have already seen comes into play.
Here is a list of my absolute favorite shows I could rewatch a million times:
- Arrested Development

Compared to other sitcoms, I don’t think this show gets enough credit. This is by far the funniest show I have ever seen, and I cannot get enough of the characters and the dry humor. If you enjoy The Office, Parks and Rec, and other shows like that, definitely give Arrested Development a chance.
- Parks and Rec

Going off of my first item on the list, Parks and Rec has some of the best characters, in my opinion. Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson, and Lil Sebastian will never let you down. If you ever feel down, Parks and Rec will definitely lift your spirits.
- Jane the Virgin

I have fully watched this show at least three times, and it gets me every time. I love how dramatic this show is and all the plot twists it has! I wish I could go back and watch this show for the first time again.
- Grey’s Anatomy

Switching from comedies, Grey’s has to be one of my absolute favorite shows of all time. I can always rely on the first season to make me nostalgic for 2005, which is when it first aired and I was just a few years old. I shouldn’t even mention how many times I have let this show play in the background while I do homework, clean my room, or do anything at all.
- Scandal

Like Grey’s, Scandal was created by Shonda Rimes. There is a lot of crossover between the characters in the two shows, which I love. This show has like 100x more drama than any of the other shows on the list, but it is absolutely addicting! It has a lot of romance which I am obsessed with. Just writing this article makes me want to start watching it again.
I’m sure almost every single person has watched or at least heard of one of these shows, and this is not at all an original Netflix list, but these are the shows I can always count on when I am feeling down or bored. I highly recommend each of them.
