Life Lessons from Good Will Hunting

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

I’ve seen Good Will Hunting many times and it’s pretty safe to say I learn a few new things every time.

Here are a few lessons I’ve learned:

I’m not the only one.

This is what best friendship looks like.

Women are better than baseball.

I wish I were Will’s Stanford girl…

…no, but really.

This phrase still doesn’t make much sense but is really awesome.

You need to take chances. Always.

Keeping good company is all you need.

You need someone who brings out your softer side.

It’s okay to let people in.

You must take advantage of the gifts you’ve been given.

If you haven’t seen this movie already, please go watch Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Robin Williams be awesome and teach you these life lessons first hand, Collegiettes™!
