When buying a pair of shoes I always have two things in mind – comfort and style. Sadly, it always seems that in order to have one I’ve got to compromise the other.

Scenario 1 : I find the perfect pair of black Cole Haan pumps for a night out on the town. I’ve got them on for one hour, and they’re already promising blisters that won’t feel too hot in the morning.

Scenario 2 : Those oh-so-cute Tory Burch flats that would look great with almost all of my spring clothes and would be ideal if only they weren’t so…well…uncomfortable.

If these scenarios sound all too familiar, and you find yourself thinking that no pair of shoes will ever be good enough, worry no more! I found an incredible pair of flats that are both comfortable, functional, and super stylish!

The Gap City Flats

The City Flat is a modern, chic, and [extremely] foot friendly shoe that can be worked into virtually any outfit, be it casual or formal. Made of soft and supple leather, this ballet-style flat is designed to fit like a glove.

While most ballet flats are too tight and stiff, the City Flats conform to your feet perfectly and leave them pain free even after hours of wear.

They come in a bunch of colors, so you are guaranteed to have a pair to go with every outfit. The colors currently available online are black, brown, flint grey, misty rose, rose gold, graphite, crushed berry, green gitane, and ballet pink. If you check out any Gap store you may also find colors that are not showcased online.

Along with your flats you receive a drawstring bag that the shoes fit perfectly inside of. This is great for storing your shoes in your purse or desk at work.

The best part about the City Flats is that they come with a small price tag of just $39.50, however if you go online there are always select colors on sale.

So whether you’re a student, a professional, or a busy girl on the go, these shoes most certainly will not disappoint.
