Whether you love it or hate it, the holiday season is in full swing and it is inevitable that you will be invited to an “Ugly Sweater Party.” Looking cute while rocking something that you borrowed from Grandma’s closet may seem like a daunting task, so I’ve done the dirty work for you. Here are 4 adorable ways to style your ugly Christmas sweater!

1. Casual

If you’re going to a friend’s house or appartment and you don’t want to get super dressed up, you can still make your ugly sweater look good. Try pairing an oversized sweater with leggings or jeans and throwing on a pair of combat boots or ankle booties. This look will take two seconds to perfect, but you’ll still look put together!

2. Sexy

Just because it’s a party dedicated to frumpy old sweaters doesn’t mean you can’t show some skin! Pair a crop top and your favorite skirt with a vest or cardigan, and leave the vest or cardigan unbuttoned. Add your favorite pair of heels and you’re good to go.

3. Flirty

If you know that your guy is going to be around, this look is perfect. Pair your sweater with a flirty and fun skater skirt and a cute pair of heels.

4. DIY

If you want to get crafty and creative, make your own unique holiday getup. It doesn’t have to be a sweater. You’ve probably seen this popular holiday skirt that is adorned with bows on the Internet.

Or you could try this crazy Christmas tree sweater!

There are tons of ways to make an “ugly” sweater cute. Send us pics from your ugly sweater parties for a chance to be featured on our style blog!
