In an interview, Ariana explained that she used this line to rationalize whether the relationship is worth staying in because she was imaging a perfect partner in her head, but unfortunately that person was not as perfect as she dreamt them up to be. A Virgo would never want to fall in love with someone like that, especially if there’s no “safety net.”

Whether this is because their nickname is the “twin sign” or because Gemini is set directly across from Sagittarius in the circle of zodiac signs and would be an almost perfect match for the impulsive fire sign, Gemini wins the album single this time. “positions” is all about being a versatile boss while simultaneously being flexible and willing to change for love.

No matter what your zodiac sign is, I think we can all agree that this is yet another album from a pop queen that saved 2020.
