Although Halloweekend is still about two weeks away, NOW is the time to get all your costumes prepped and ready. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays despite the challenge me and my friends face every single year around this time of, “What are we going to be????” Luckily, I prepped early this year and have compiled all of my best Halloween costumes ideas for you or your friends. (Plus, there’s a surprise at the end for the ones I plan on wearing!)

Scooby Doo Gang

A classic, especially after its latest reboot, this is the perfect costume for a group of 4-5 friends because of how easy it is! Everyone just needs to be decked out head-to-toe in either blue for Fred, purple for Daphne, orange for Velma, and green/brown for Shaggy and Scooby (with the appropriate accessories of course)!

Powerpuff girls

Perfect for a group of three! Another simple one that only requires a pink, blue, and green crop top, skirt, and some fun hairstyles.

Taylor swift (through the years)

For this one, you can either choose your own T-Swift era to rock for the night (maybe some red lipstick matched with a red dress) or you and your friends can each pick your own and show her progression through each era! Either way, this is super cute and super easy!

Bridgerton

My personal favorite bingeworthy show of 2021 and another contender of mine. Again, with this one you can either style yourself as Queen Daphne or Eloise, or you can have your S/O pull off a matching Duke outfit and embrace your inner London 1800s for the night!

Mermaid

A constant joke on TIkTok through the year, “Wanna play mermaids?” But seriously, yes I do. This will be one of my costumes this year and I put it together with a blue twisty crop top and a silver sequin skirt. Pair with a few seashell hair clips and blue glitter, and you’re good to go!

Olivia Rodrigo

Finally, my personal favorite of the list and my second costume for this year, the queen herself! To make this costume, I bought a blue and white cheerleading outfit and plan on ironing on “good 4 u” across the front with two hair clips pulling my hair back a middle part to pretend I am one of the greatest artists of the year!

I hope this list helps you brainstorm your own ideas or even gives you the perfect costume for your Halloweekend! Have a fun, scary, and safe Halloweekend! Happy Halloween!
