Ironically, this is coming from one who is very much single. However, I have been in relationships before and have experienced having no idea on what to gift for the holidays. I have to brag when I tell you that, although I have been stuck for ideas, I end up giving some really good gifts — to my now exes. Personally, I enjoy giving gifts that involve doing something, preferably together. Therefore, here are my top five gifts that I recommend.

A Sports Game

You can’t go wrong with this. Most guys I have spoken to expressed how much they love to go to games, whether it be an NHL, MLB, or NFL game. Getting tickets to see his team play in real life is the best way to surprise a superfan. Naturally, this one will rely on your spending limit and the season you’re offering, but do your best to choose the greatest seats you can afford.

Concert tickets

Now for the boyfriends who may not follow sports, there are some upcoming concerts that could peak some interest. Attending a concert offers a chance to spend quality time together. It’s an opportunity to spend quality time together while listening to live music. There have been a lot of artists who have recently announced their tours, so you can browse from a variety of options!

Top Golf

A gift card to Top Golf is perfect gift for a date night. Top Golf isn’t your normal golf trip; neither equipment nor golf skills are needed. It’s all about enjoying the vibrant scene, hitting some golf balls, and having a great time with each other, while also being a bit competitive.

Tickets to a Brewery or Winery

Imagine relaxing, sampling new beverages, and taking in the unique environment of a local brewery or winery. It’s an easy and enjoyable way to spend the holidays, creating memories that go beyond the traditional gift exchange. It’s also an opportunity for you both to unwind and enjoy one other’s company in a relaxed situation.

The Adventure Challenge Couples Edition

I purchased this for my boyfriend at the time for Christmas one year and he loved it. It includes 50 scratch-off date ideas, allowing you to try one almost every weekend of the year. Once you’ve gone on the date, there’s space in the book for you to save photographs and write down your greatest memories.

A present may be wonderful for a short time, but memories last a lifetime. This holiday season, consider doing your significant other a favor and foregoing a popular physical present in favor of one of these experienced-based gift ideas.
