Black is the New Black
You can never go wrong with anything black. It flatters everyone and screams sexy. However, try and stay away from cheap fabrics, excessive rhinestones, or major sequin-age. Also, make sure what you’re buying fits and is something you’re comfortable in. After all, you want to feel confident.
Slips are Sexy
If you want to leave something to the imagination, or just have a slinky number to sleep in, a slip is the way to go.
Lions, Bustier and Teddy’s, Oh My!
One way to go if you’re not completely comfortable baring it all is to try a bustier or teddy. They come in a variety of styles and colors; however, I would stay away from garish color combinations. Also, stay away from wild prints or anything too busy, as you want the focus to be on you!
Colors
I’m all about colors, but in my opinion I think the best hues for Valentine’s Day are the classics; red, pink and black. To me, white is pretty bridal, and yellows, oranges, or greens might make you look like an Easter egg.
Lace Race
On Valentine’s Day, you will not go wrong if you choose lace. It’s classy, ladylike and sexy all at the same time. When in doubt, it’s the perfect go-to style. However, make sure the lace is well made and is comfortable, because if it’s a cheaper garment, the fabric will itch and it won’t look as nice.
So, take these tips and be confident that you’ll surprise that special someone on Valentine’s Day!
