Fall is my favorite season. Is it because of the crisp air, changing leaves, and apple picking? Partly; but mostly because it’s my favorite time of year for fashion. I love sweaters, stripes, flannels, leggings, jeans, button ups, and of course, the shoes!

It’s time to put your flip flops away because it’s boot season! Brown boots are a staple for Fall. When I was younger I used to just stick to the classic tall, brown, riding boots. This year I am opening up my closet to all different varieties. While I am on a strict budget, a girl can dream, right? Here are some of my favorites for this fall!

Classic Riding Boot

These boots are easy to slip on with any outfit. They look great with sweaters, shirts, and even a blazer. On the right are the pricey but cute Marlene by Tory Burch boots, and on the right are the more affordable option, the Jalisah by JustFab.

Booties

Booties are a great alternative to riding boots because they are a little less constricting than riding boots. You don’t just have to wear them with skinny jeans; you can also wear them with boyfriend or pegged jeans. They also come in a variety of heel heights. The boots above are the Zane by Chinese Laundry. The Women’s Ankle Boot from Old Navy are also another option.

Lace Up

Lace up boots are also a great boot for fall. You can dress them down or up, and make them edgy or chic. The top boots are Troopa by Steve Madden, and another option are the Tanner by Payless.

Have a good fall semester, Collegiettes!
