I know we’ve all heard and loved the classics, but there is only so much “All I want for Christmas is You” that a girl can take. Here are some holiday tunes that’ll hopefully put you in the Holiday spirit, but won’t make you want to kill yourself.

The Waitresses – Christmas Wrapping

Three words: Never. Gets. Old. I start immediately bouncing when this song plays.

Jimmy Eat World – Last Christmas

OC Christmukkuh anyone?

The Raveonettes – The Christmas Song

Another OC Christmukkuh classic. Seth and Summer forever.

Ron Sexsmith – Maybe This Christmas

Very hopeful and very soothing.

Cascada – Last Christmas

Maybe the only Christmas song you won’t feel weird pre-gaming to.

Death Cab for Cutie- Baby Please Come Home

Everyone needs a little Death Cab in their life (for your more pensive moments).

Ingrid Michaelson – December Baby

Depressing and beautiful.

Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles – Winter Song

See above.

The Dandy Warhols – Little Drummer Boy

My all-time favorite Christmas song.  This one is definitely more acceptable than Ashley and Jessica Simpson’s version to listen to in public…

Jimmy Eat World – 12.23.95

UGH…JIMMY. 8th grade anyone?

The Thrills – I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

Always hated this song as a child, but now it is hilarious.

My Morning Jacket – Xmas Curtain

It’s good. Listen.

Band of Horses – The First Song

Never realized how Christmas-y this song was until now?
