Trader Joe’s is my favorite grocery store to browse because they deliver affordable snack combinations with quirky flavors. Now that fall is officially in season, it means we’re ready for all things pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon. On a recent trip to the TJ’s in Hadley, I selected a few treats from their seasonal lineup and put together a list of my favorites, so you’ll know what’s actually worth the hype!
- Spooky bats and cats sour gummy candies
-
You may know of the TJ’s Scandinavian Swimmers, which are one of my favorite candies. The Bats and Cats Sour Gummy Candies are the same colorful, gummy sweets, but with a Halloween theme! I prefer the sour over the original gummies. Additionally, their colors are derived from natural products, such as fruit concentrates. I devoured an entire bag of these during The Summer I Turned Pretty finale…these are definitely worth the hype!
- Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake
-
I had to grab the new Pumpkin Spice Sheet Cake, and it’s surely worth the hype! With cream cheese frosting and a moist cinnamon cake, every bite is a flavor of fall. I cannot express how much I enjoy the sheet cakes! The Pumpkin Spice is definitely in my top 3 choices now, but the Chantilly Cream Vanilla Bean, and Yellow Sheet Cake are still my favorites.
- petite pumpkin spice cookies
-
My roommate and I had to grab a box. They are shortbread cookies with yogurt icing and crunchy sprinkles! I noticed the biscuit had a subtle pumpkin spice flavor, and the yogurt icing melts in your mouth. These are crumbly, creamy, and crunchy. If you need a study snack for midterms, definitely get these!
- buffalo style chicken dip
-
Who doesn’t love NFL Sunday Night Football and buffalo chicken dip? Turning away from sweet fall flavors, I have to take a moment to spotlight this savory dip. You can enjoy it cold, but personally, I put shredded cheddar cheese sprinkled on top, then microwave it. Eventually, I’ll venture out and try the other dips Trader Joe’s has to offer, but for now, I will say this is a hit!
- honeycrisp apple granola
-
I have a yogurt bowl every morning without fail. I usually always use vanilla yogurt, but I like to try new concoctions. Recently, my bowl has been topped with the Trader Joe’s Honeycrisp Apple Granola, cinnamon and sliced apples! This granola is great for a handful between classes or for toppings on a yummy breakfast.
- salted maple cold foam creamer
-
Taking a turn from snacks and dips, I have to mention this cold foam. My roommate and I recently bought a Keurig, and we have been using it every day! Usually, I will put in a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice K-Cup with some oat milk, but after buying this cold foam, it is a total game-changer. It’s full of maple flavors and pairs flawlessly with pumpkin spice.
After trying these snacks, I can say the majority of them were hits! Some treats perfectly matched the fall vibe I was looking for. Fall flavors always give me a warm, comforting feeling of nostalgia, and I can’t wait to try the Trader Joe’s Christmas goodies that drop next month!
