Ever worry about what negative impact your latest beauty buy has on you, or even worse, the environment?  Have no fear– here are five beauty products that are eco-friendly!

1) Bare Minerals Foundation

Although many people have already heard of Bare Minerals either walking through Sephora or seeing their popular ads, they are not to be forgotten. Their foundation comes in a wide array of colors, and has a flawless finish. The foundation isn’t thick or cakey, which gives it a more natural finish and is better for your skin. They also don’t just make foundation either; they have a large variety of beauty products that are all eco-friendly!

2) Butter London Nail Polish

I personally love using this nail polish brand– they come in really fun colors and applies really evenly. This nail polish is toxin free, which only makes the product more appealing. Many nail polishes have an abundance of different chemicals within them, so I feel a little bit better when I use this brand.

3) Rosebud Salve

I think we all can agree this rough winter made our lips a little extra chapped. This lip balm is great at hydrating lips and repairing damage. This product is also all natural, so no guilt! This product also can be used for treating blemishes and dry skin.

4) Aveeno Face Lotion

Although this product is not 100% eco-friendly, it is mostly made up of all natural products. This lotion is great for sensitive skin and can also help reduce redness. The product has sunscreen in it as well, so you’re protected from the sun! It’s super accessible too–it can be found in any large chain super market store.

5) Frank Body Scrub

This body scrub is fairly new and has gained a lot of popularity over the past year. Not only is it eco-friendly, but it’s made locally and the company doesn’t test on animals! I have the body scrub and I love it. It makes my skin feel really smooth, and it smells good too. The body scrub can be used on your face as well.

What are some of your favorite eco-friendly beauty products, Collegiettes?
