As the colder weather has abruptly arrived, most of us will be switching up our skincare routines in some way to adapt. One brand that can help ease this transition is Glossier.  Pronounced “Gloss-ee-yay”, the brand provides skincare and makeup lines. It’s known for its minimalistic packaging and skin-care based beauty, focusing on enhancing facial features naturally. If you’ve heard of the brand or are just coming across it, here are a few products you can incorporate into your daily routine to use.

1. Balm Dotcom

One of the most popular Glossier products, Balm Dotcom is stated by the brand as a product, “packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish dry, chafed skin”. There are eight different flavors, from coconut to cherry. Noted as a “universal skin salve”, it is not only formulated for your lips, but your eyebrows, elbows, or cuticles. I use the birthday balm, which is untinted and has a subtle shimmer. Overall it’s a great product for preventing your lips from drying up this season.

2. Cloud Paint

This is a makeup product that is formulated as a gel-cream blush, made in six different shades. This blush is great for several skin tones, ranging from soft peach to warm rose. The best part is that you only need a small amount because a little goes a long away.

3. Priming Moisturizer

This moisturizer improves the overall appearance of your skin tone, thanks to its anti-redness complex. It can be used as a primer as well, so this is a great product to use before applying makeup. Glossier says it creates “a cushiony bounce and an even texture”, so it can be reapplied.

4. Super Bounce

This is a daily serum comprised of hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5, which are ingredients used for hydration. Stated by Glossier, the hyaluronic acid “helps the serum soak into the skin without any stickiness or residue, and vitamin B5 helps maintain the softness of the skin.” This serum is a great addition to your skincare routine since it is ideal for dry conditions, and is hypoallergenic, appropriate for all skin types, and paraben free as well.

5. Moisturizing Moon Mask

This mask is a creamy texture and works on all skin types to provide deep hydration. According to Glossier, it’s “formulated with sweet almond oil, plant-based squalene, and hyaluronic acid to boost skin’s hydration.” This mask also helps to smooth the appearance of fine lines, and visibly brighten and even out the complexion with licorice root and lemon fruit extract. This has been allergy tested, dermatologist tested, and is appropriate for all skin types.
