5 Fab Coffee Flavors To Get You Through Finals Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

The struggle can be real, especially without our much needed coffee in the morning and sometimes even throughout the day. If you’re an avid coffee drinker then you are well aware about what I am referring to. That morning cup of Joe that seems to start off our day on the right foot and is exactly what we need after that late night study sesh or late night out. Nothing can be better during finals week, which is coming faster than we think! Next time you drink the fuel for your fire, try to switch up your regular coffee routine with these five fab coffee flavors!

1. Pumpkin Coffee is great year round hot or iced. Try to spice up this flavor choice with hazelnut creamer or French vanilla creamer. It gives an added twist to that pumpkin coffee you might be so used to sipping on. You can even find pumpkin coffee in K Cups or just ground up in bags at your local grocery store.

2. Ok, this one might sound way out there but Dunkin Donuts has a bunch of great new flavors like cookie dough, mocha almond, mint chocolate chip, and much more! These added flavors spice up your coffee with just enough kick of sweetness to start your day on the right foot. Trust me, I was nervous to try them at first, but once you do you seemed to be hooked!

3. The new vanilla macchiato from Starbucks is amazing and seems to be almost too perfect all in one cup! It is a multi-layered coffee drink with steamed milk, espresso shots, and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, yum! You can have this drink iced or hot, so you get the best of both worlds.

4. If you are trying to save some dough on your Joe then try your coffee, whatever flavor you already have and mix it up a bit with a spoon full of maple syrup and some cinnamon sugar. I know it sounds a little out there, but trust me when I tell you it is everything you love about a Sunday morning breakfast in your cup. The flavors seem to be great with vanilla coffee or hazelnut flavored coffee as well.

5. Coffee Mate is the perfect and most cost effective way to mix up your normal coffee routine. They just came out with new flavors like Girl Scout cookies (Thin Mints and Caramel Coconut), which are unreal. Most of their creamers are sugar free and reduced fat. There is also Mexican chocolate and café mocha along with dulce de leche. So no matter which one you end up choosing to try out, you will certainly not regret your decision. Each creamers seems to be yummier than the next and will make a fab choice for your morning coffee. Coffee Mate also makes seasonal flavors so you will get into the spirit of that season year round.

Try not to stress in the final home stretch of the semester, it’s almost over and summer will be here before we even know it! With these five fab coffee flavors you can mix up your coffee and add some spark to your day, one cup at a time. Keep calm and drink on Collegiettes!
