Alright Collegiettes, let’s talk lipstick! Whether you’re the girl who wears lipstick every day or only on special occasions, finding the perfect lipstick is tough. Lipstick serves to empower us women. It makes us feel beautiful and powerful. With this is mind, it may take some time to find which lipstick really works for you. For those of you who want a simple, yet beautiful nude color, this product is made for you. Every time you put it on, it nourishes and soothes your lips, while leaving a small tint of color to help your lips look healthy. This is a great lipstick to have when your lips are chapped. You can heal your lips, while making them still look beautiful.
Sephora Collection ~ Cream Lip Stain $13.00
This bad boy is Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain in Always Red. Wear this for a date, for class, for a party… it works for everything. This lipstick feels soft against your lips and will stay on your lips for the entire day. The first time I wore this, I was so surprised to find that after three meals and a whole day of running around, my lips were still red and flawless. Red is bold and demands attention, but this amazing lipstick also comes in nine other colors (my other favorite being Endless Pink) which you can try out. One of the best lipsticks I have bought.
Maybelline ~ Color Whisper $7.99
Color Whisper lipstick is simply gorgeous and gives you a very feminine look. The colors that anyone can pull off are Go Nude and Petal Rebel. Both of these colors are soft and smooth, and look positively pretty on your lips. If you have darker skin color, I would highly recommend the Orange Attitude because it allows you to flaunt brighter colors and no one but you will be able to rock it.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless ~ $8.99
Yes, ladies… PURPLE! It doesn’t matter what skin color you have, (you could be orange or green for all I know) you will rock this lipstick. It is a fabulous look that is bold, but doesn’t shock people with how unique it is. As a personal user of this lipstick, I can tell you that you will have to put on a small layer of lip balm before putting this on, since this lipstick is not the most moisturizing. Do this, however, and this fierce lipstick will stay on your lips the entire day.
Do you remember when you wore lip-gloss for the first time? Remember how it smelled and tasted like candy, and was super glossy against your lips? Butter Glosses are basically an upgrade version of those childhood lip-glosses. Butter Glosses have color shades for everybody, and show off your lips without being overbearing. If you are bit hesitant about lipstick and want to start off easy, this product is for you.
