The 11 Best Will Ferrell Movies

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

Everyone loves a good comedy and Will Ferrell is one of the funniest comedians out there. Check out this list of his best films…

11. Land of the Lost

Guys, seriously, this is the greatest movie ever made and so under-appreciated. Go watch it. You’re welcome.

10. A Night at the Roxbury

The classic. How could we ever forget the hair? The clothes? The head bob?

9. Kicking & Screaming

This movie wasn’t given the attention it deserves either; it has some gems and some interesting outfits as per usual with Ferrell.

8. Blades of Glory

Not only do we get Ferrell in this one, but other comedic classics: Jon Heder, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Jenna Fischer (we can go on and on).

7. Semi-Pro

If an afro’s involved, you know it’s gonna be funny.

6. Old School

This movie makes Blue everybody’s boy.

5. Elf

A Christmas classic! Ferrell is not only hilarious but super loveable in this heart-warmer.

4. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Two favorites in this one: Ferrell and sidekick John C. Reilly make viewers’ sides split.

3. Step Brothers

John C. Reilly is Ferrell’s sidekick again in this one, and if you can’t quote the best friend scene with your bestie, you might have some things to reconsider in that relationship.

2. Anchorman (1 and 2)

We can’t decide what’s better, the epic fight scenes, the mustache, or the star-studded cast.

1. The Other Guys

Obviously anything with Will Ferrell in it is going to be hilarious, but when they add Mark Wahlberg into the mix, it is the funniest movie to watch.

BONUS: Zoolander

Though Ferrell isn’t the main character of this one, nobody can forget Mugatu’s hair…and that hypnotizing video might have left some people scarred for life. Still great.
