Weekly Workout: World’s Fastest Workout

This workout is only four minutes long with segments of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. The World’s Fastest Workout is not only effective, but perfect for those days where you do not have time to get to the gym for your usual hour or so. It is estimated to burn about the equivalent of running for 30 minutes and will blast calories and body fat for up to 12 hours after the workout.

Seems easy, right? Trust me, it’s not! If you are doing it properly, you will begin to sweat and be out of breath by the third interval. Try it out:

Squat Thursts – 20 seconds
Rest – 10 seconds
Mountain Climbers – 20 seconds
Rest – 10 seconds
High Knees – 20 seconds
Rest – 10 seconds
Jumping Jacks – 20 seconds
Rest – 10 seconds
— REPEAT —

The key is to keep good form, engage your core, and go all out for the entire four minutes. Check out the video here.
