Whether you’re genuinely interested in football or just there to laugh at your friends getting red faced and screaming at a TV, there is something we can all get behind about Super Bowl Sunday…THE FOOD! No Super Bowl party is complete without a great line up with food so, without further ado, here are some recipes that will no doubt be crowd pleasers

 

  1. Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
  • ½ cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
  • ½ cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • ½ cup of blue cheese crumbles

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together (you may want to soften the cream cheese to make it easier to stir)
  • Put in oven safe baking dish and bake for 20 minutes
  • Optional: sprinkle some blue cheese crumbles on top before serving
  • Grab your favorite chips or crackers and enjoy!

  1. Bacon Crack Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of bacon
  • 32 Club Crackers
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan
  • Black pepper
  • Ranch dressing (for dipping)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Arrange crackers on the sheet and sprinkle with Parmesan
  • Wrap each cracker with bacon and set them back, seam side down, then top with more Parmesan (may need to cut bacon strips in half horizontally)
  • Bake until bacon is fully cooked and look crisp, around 48-50 minutes
  • Season with pepper and serve

  1. Skillet Cheese Fries

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. frozen French fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup shredded monterey Jack
  • 10 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ¼ cup pickled jalapeños

Directions:

  • Bake French fries according to package directions
  • Once French fries are done, preheat oven to 350
  • In an oven safe skillet, layer half the fries and top with half of the cheddar and monterey jack, bacon, green onions and jalapenos
  • Repeat with remaining French fries and toppings
  • Bake until cheese is completely melted, around 10 minutes

  1. Chocolate Covered Football Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ tbs. coconut oil
  • 12-16 strawberries (washed and dried)
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Microwave the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds
  • Stir and repeat in 15 second increments until chocolate is smooth
  • Dip each strawberry into the chocolate, rotating to make sure all sides get saturate d
  • Place on a sheet of parchment paper to set
  • In another bowl, melt the white chocolate chips as you did the chocolate chips
  • Pour white chocolate into a small ziplock bag, moving the white chocolate to the corner of the bag
  • Allow the white chocolate to cool a bit before piping (makes it easier to maneuver) and then cut the tip of the corner of the bag
  • Pipe as shown in picture
  • Allow to set on parchment paper
